Artist, Künstler SEAK Claus Winkler: Reflecting my work process. Iam using the house my grandparents ( Eastprussian refugees) where building in the 1950s as a studio. Coincidence that I have positioned my plastic 1980s gardenchair where is sit in when painting sitting where 25/ 30 years before, for almost 70 years was the tv set standing? Surprise that i paint my abstract ‚ a ‚ letter forms with bearfurr hat soldier hats ( British/ French old guards). When I saw during my grandparents life time 1800s Prussian soldier calendar illustration framed at stairways walls hanging? ( a relative from the other side ( my mothers) had a employment as a hatmaker, traveling with her boss to Paris, seeing the world exhibition.
Maybe I paint paintings ( square forms/ 90 degrees angles) cause I saw when being a child living there/ later visiting my grandparents/ my grandmother using the baking oven ( square/ rectangular 90 degrees angles form) a lot producing all kinds of delicious cakes, cookies, at/ with/ on the baking oven metal plate ( square/ 90degrees plate form).?. I precieved my grandmothers baking skillz absolute Top Notch. Maybe there i learned to pace that attitude striving for quality. Although the furr of my guinea pig ( my father had choose it ) had a real beautiful furr color complexion. All things which primed me loving visual beauty. The photoplace is, is where the eating room was. memories sundays family meals/ coffee/ cake afternoons. Later although just me visiting my geandmother. She was hidding my spraycan stash/ storage there for me, from my parents. ( always circa one euro palette/ 1 room full ). Smart woman. What challenges she mastered/ over came/ adventures she lived thru during her refugee from the eastern front deserved a ironcross/ Purple Heart/ etc.

Maybe I had choosen a with intuition? Though is intuition possible when knowing color meanings, conotations? Maybe I just paint with a color on my palette ( box/ bucket/ square/ round, where ever is color.) I usual collect with in the same floor pieces where it makes sense painting. I drape/ stand/ put/ lay/ stuff/ paintings around where I sit/ stand where I paint. Like my Guineapig when I was child building a hay nest, my exgirlparents hunting dachshund, with his cuddleblanket, building his space. I choose for listening a film (you tube english/ German ), rare music, a lot of times audiobooks. A lot of times a audiobook ive listen a lot of times. I always have a large tea cup, a 1 1/2 ltr can with tea/ water (crane). Depending color/ nuance i work with, if let go playing pure abstract with the brush with in a painting, i catch myself if having naying/ block/ barrieral/ thoughts. I catch myself, switch immideate to a clear hetero, narrative envisioning a life with rotation from attractive highinterest bio- females ( 9s/ 10s), drama free. Iam Balancing conotations/ energy’s the speakers iam listening, triggers which become activated from for example a Capri/ angle free tight pants/ non socks/ feminine/ agressive cruising young man who chased me a day before, at a discounter/ supermarket shopping food. From signals/ his bodylanguage bottom twink/ feminin Hubby look for Bull for Hwife. He competed with a heterocouple looking for a man, while me was just keeping people with my trolley at bay. ( Covid/ wrong target / non judge/ clarity/ focused healthy food). Those with color/ form/ movement/ feelings connected situations I while painting do reframe, with a forme feel good narrative. ( females 9/ 10s/ legal, ) while seeing the situation with Top Perspektive.

While painting I observe how my feelings, my perception is defined by colors. I think about the what i do know about a color, the nuances which are effecting me. I think about how the colors are connected to letters. For me it is from vital importance although reflecting how colors, the painting, the perception from painting is perceived with a social dynamic lense. The great societal lie of heterosexuality, the lie homo/ bisexuality, the lie of being faithful, the lie of non hypergamous women, the lie of I have time, the lie of that if a women has a lot partners it doesn’t effect the ability staying in relationships, just naming a few things/ perspectives. These perspectives, clarity’s come with knowledge from colors, with forms. The ‘ rules ‘, the agenda with how I paint a painting differ all the time. I collect with in rotation, doing always just a little bit work at a certain painting all kinds of contradicting, conflicting hidden lifestyle/ political decisions, which make the painting look good, stimulating, but contradicting. Like nobody is owned by anyone, You/ She/ her isnt yours/ it is just your/ her/ anybodys turn. While painting I although think about I which do I lead with my paintings? I although think about marketing, or better formulated clever positioning. The clever positioning, ‘ games ‘, ‘ manipulation ‘ females are doing, and marketing people. I guess I lead people, the viewer with my art always to anything which is sexual, that what the person real wanting, to a white wall.

Observing myself, paint a lot at all paintings with in arms reach. A thought builder up with painting 1, with in a second, I already painting with thought for painting 1, at painting 2, going to painting 3, painting 5, while stilling processing what happened at painting 1. What I like painting a lot paintings in a row, absence of expectation aka low comfort zone, braver doing painting decision. Sometimes i although like painting a painting one go. Painting ( with spraycans/ brush/ finger) is although a great way compensating food. Able enjoying the colors nuances without the need to eat. Something better doing, the liquid/ structure with in. I guess I have so many many paintings with in the small sizes. Small like around here, that size up to small like 2 meter by 2 meter, that I have enough in progress looking already ready, finished for seconds/ thirds, that strategical I just makes sense for me in developing all these paintings further. Adding details, growing them in to masterpieces from a old masters perspective, for example ‘ Dutch golden age ‘ masterpieces, like Rembrandt/ Hieronymus/ Vermeer/ etc. All new paintings I would/ will start will be larger, in size like, above 2m x 2m’s. I start with going collecting in all the paintings from the day before which I was laying out drying. I do seperate them in to putting them away to continue painting during a later work routine, maybe a few days, weeks, who knows. I watch the paintings/ drawings, both sides. The paintings I do paint that day, I put together somewhere close where i work that day. I am feeling good, enjoying the progress the painting did. I reflect why I like it. How colors/ form/ layout composition are influencing? I usual follow slight hunches ( Geistesblitze/ Bauchgefühl). I already know circa what I will do that that day. How I worked 10years back ( except the custom, painted with in 1 row(ish) pieces), it is 1 work step that day. For example, I work that week/ weeks just with brush/ finger with green/ brown/ earth/ nature tones, variating with painting pastell greens ( using the a lot white (ish), cream (ish ) paint with the all the high pigmented/ almost dryed up dark/ medium green paint from my palette ( these days a cartonage/ cardboard packing box circa din4, with a thick color crust from weeks usage ).
I usual deduct during the process/ during my life with in general, how thecolors/ my process, are having a effect on me. The bettering of my thoughts. How I am painting sound, conoations, voices, feelings.
