Artist SEAK Claus Winkler artist thoughts from the daily work process.👌🏻✏️

SEAK Claus Winkler:

I continued painting this painting, i started in 1999 a few years ago.

I added the large spraycan spraypainted “S” variations a few weeks ago.

I just rehung it here, for now.

Till the next time I continue painting it. I you think Iam having an ego, etc, i very rate like what I do/ paint, create.

I kinda like the journey, the process.

Maybe I like the thriving the urge painting something, chasing a vision, or the idea glimpse, I don’t know.

Some times I love the process.

It although depends on my current medium Iam painting with, the technique, there are so many factors which are influential.

Like a little detail from a painting where i painted something a few hours ago, driving, steering my whole thought process and mindset.

Crazy. I sometimes can deduct what and how i have influenced myself.

SEAK Claus Winkler:

I just sorted the chaos in my studio a little.

It’s that vibe, where Iam sick of seeing my own paintings. Although bored.

I guess that’s normal.

After all Iam painting and progressing them between 15 to 26 years.

Seeing them almost every day.

Maybe taking shower, having a nap, having a coffee, painting with a new technique or with different mindset, will change my mood fast.

Ah, that’s it, i was listening to a video about “ endless motivation “ from coach Owen cook. “end less Motivation” .

That where my mood is came from?

Interesting how easily we can be influenced.

Where does my art is taking you?

SEAK Claus Winkler: I thought I put the left paintings in the cellar showroom and the right paintings in the first floor, and under the roof. Nope, I put them in my storage/ exhibition room, on ground zero (parterre).

SEAK Claus Winkler:

When iam painting something new, Iam enchanted.

After while, Iam cooling off, or cooling down.

To get then a good vibe, is painting something different, at a different part of the painting, or painting a different idea, or painting at different paintings.

I might retrain reconditioning myself painting just one painting, focused on one painting.

Instead of painting in rotation.

Creating a higher grade of depth and focus.

Concentrating my energy, power, attention.

Iam posting here all the time my work in progress paintings, and people thinking they are already finished paintings.

paintings Iam painting on, from all sides since from the late 1990s on everywhere.

What you own, quickly owns you.

SEAK Claus Winkler:

Iam painting on this Seak style since circa 10years at least.

It’s the backside from another painting.

If i had super rich art collectors who would request it, payment in advance, I would although do custom quick lightfooted fast sketch style painted Seak styles.

Reduced to the max.

Like the artist cy twombly, super fast, playful, quick, empty surfaces for the eyes to rest, with a different vibe.

In a few hours.

They would look great too.

Instead of waiting for a wealthy collector, Iam when having the budget for it, will paint those paintings on my own.

Few large canvas rolls stapled to the studio walls.

After all the hyper detailed hyper complex multi decade painted paintings, I like painting fast easy paintings too.
